Rylie Jane's 2nd Birthday Party

Sunday was Miss Rylie Jane's Birthday party. It was at Rylie's house and they had a big Disney Princess bounce castle in their back yard. It was a lot of fun. Great company and Sadie had a blast running around the back yard.

The Wagon

You know what really funny about this? Just last week I mentioned to Steve that we should get a wagon so when we go up to Etna this summer we could pull her around. So this just clinched it for me. Now we have to get one.

When we got to the party that was the first thing she wanted to do. So Sadie and Rylie piled into the wagon and Katie pulled them around the back yard.

It was overcast but bright so she is trying to smile but couldn't keep her eyes open.

Yes she really did think she was the queen being pulled by her servants. The Slide
Then there was the slide. Seriously she would just sit on top and not move. She'd just literally kick back and watch everything. We had to "help" her do down the slide.

Ok in this video our friend Aaron found a lady bug and was trying to show Sadie. Well she immediately grabs it and us being the normal parents thinks she's going to eat it. Well it jumped off her hand and landed on her pants so Steve was trying to show her and then it disappeared.

Then after that we tried to get her to go down the slide.

The Bounce House
Katie was nice enough to take Sadie inside the bounce house. (I wasn't going to embarass myself) Sadie was not sure about this. Katie bounced around with her for a few minutes and then we tried to get Sadie to bounce on her own. This was not going to happen though.

This was Sadie's preferred view of the bounce house. I'm glad I didn't waste my money. HA!

The Cupcakes

Katie is so clever. She baked the cupcakes inside of ice cream cones. So no that's not ice cream she's eating it's a cupcake.

Daddy was brave and held her while she ate. It was really funny. I think she got more messy with this than her own birthday cake. She really like it.

We are so very blessed to have such great friends. We are so glad that we got to share in all the fun for Rylie's special day. She is such a sweet beautiful little girl and we are so very lucky to have her in our lives.
