These are the Days of our Lives...

So what do these things have in common? The Eastlick Family that's what. The last week and a half has been filled the sneezes, coughs and fevers. Not limited to Sadie, but also with Steve. I even took Sadie into the doctor last week just to make sure she didn't have an ear infection. You'll be happy to know it was just a severe cold and she is finally recovering. She still has a bit of congestion in her nose but we are dealing with that. At least there are no more fevers. That was scary. She had a fever of 99.2 for three days and it even spiked to 100.3. Now I know you are probably saying that's not a high fever at all but for our Little Miss Sadie it is, as her normal temperature is usually 97.8.

Now Steve on the other hand. The man is awful. He is coughing like crazy and refuses to go to the doctor. Mom if you're reading this you may want to scold your son. He said that everything is fine and there is nothing the doctor can do, but I do not remember seeing a medical degree on his wall. If anything I know that the doctor could at least give him a prescription for cough medicine, which I have to say is the worst of all his symptoms. He is coughing so much he is hardly sleeping. UGH!

In happier news we got to go and visit Andy & Gin Olson last night. So we finally got to meet Atley Olson. She is four months old and is so cute. She was so fun! Sadie kept wanting to play but we had to keep telling her she wasn't old enough to play. Sadie did really good at the Olson's house. She explored and didn't get into too much trouble. Before we left our house though she was CRANKY. She was tired, here is a picture. She is wearing the t-shirt that Grandma Eastlick got for her. You can't see it too well, but she looked really cute.

So that's pretty much what's been going on at our house. This week we are cleaning the house and getting ready for trip to Las Vegas. We'll be leaving next Wednesday after we get off work. It just gives me an excuse to plan and to make lists. Oh and thank you to Sierra Huang who is going to help me get ready for my Vegas trip by shaping and waxing my eyebrows.
Oh and this Saturday at 2pm I'm going to see Twilight the movie with a great group of friends. We are going to the East Hills Mall and watch it. If you're interested in joining us let me know.
