Our Trip to the Park

So lately I've been feeling like I haven't been a good mommy. Poor Sadie is couped up all at daycare. They don't ever go outside. And then lately it's been really cold or we've been working on the cabinets so we really haven't had a chance to play outside. So I promised myself I would take her to the park this weekend. We have actually only been to the park once and she was too small to do anything. So she's never been in a swing before or played with sand.

Just being outside put this smile on her face. We've decided we need to do it more often and possible get a swing for our back yard. She'd have a blast!

She was really funny about the sand. When she first walked on it she just watched her feet. Then she planted her bum down and played with the sand with her hands. We were both amazed that she didn't try to eat it, since that's what she usually does.

Then came the swing. At first I don't think she really understood what was going to happen but man when Steve started pushing her she LOVED it. As her expressions clearly show.

On our way back to the car Sadie discovered her Shadow. She is really funny.
