Knotts Berry Farm

On Wednesday night we left the twins with Grandma and Grandpa Hildebrand and we headed down to a hotel near Knott's Berry Farm.  I was very excited about this as it was the first night in over a month that I'd be able to sleep all night.  Or else that's what I was hoping anyway.  Unfortunately my body is still on baby time and I kept waking up.  It was nice to be able to go back to sleep and not be up for an hour for feeding.

On Thursday we met my brother Travis' family for Miss Sadie's first trip to Knott's Berry Farm.  Miss Sadie was so excited to see her cousins.

Here is Miss Sadie and Jace getting some breakfast before hitting the road to Knott's Berry Farm.

Uncle Travis, Aunt Jill-bee, Spencer, Kyson (Beiber), Jace and Miss Sadie.

Aunt Jill-bee is awesome and everyone had matching shirts...they even got one for Miss Sadie.  She was SO excited.

Miss Sadie and I waiting for the train robbers to come and get us.  She wasn't scared at all.  Man I remember being so scared.  Times certainly have changed.

Miss Sadie was a little nervous about ALL the rides.  So I made her go on a few.  That's Aunt Jill-bee and Jace in the balloon behind Miss Sadie.  After this balloon ride she says "That wasn't so bad.  Let's go again."

Steve took this cool photo with his new camera.

This was the ride of the day for Miss Sadie.  Here is Jace and Miss Sadie.  They loved this ride and I lost count of how many times Miss Sadie went on it.

I remember doing this ride when I was little.
It's a pump yourself railroad cart.  Miss Sadie rocked it!

You may judge me but we made Miss Sadie go on the log ride with us.  Just once.  She didn't like the darkness inside the mountain.  On our climb up she saw the light from outside and kept saying,"lets go there".  Little did she know about the plunge she was about to take. (Oh and we bought the pictures...this was just a quick snapshot of the one we bought.)

Trav's family got drenched in their log.  Miss Sadie was happy to be moving on.

At the end of the day we decided to slow things down and went and watched Snoopy on Ice.  Miss Sadie loved it.
