We had our first appointment in Fresno today for the perintologist.  We got some good 4D pictures of Henrietta but Auggie was being very stubborn.

This morning this is what my angel looked like when she went to preschool.

Rainy Days

This morning it started raining...and here in Bakersfield that's something to get excited about.  Sadie had been asking to play outside with the umbrella so we took advantage of the rain.  (which I'm glad we did because it lasted a whole 10 minutes) Here are some fun pictures of Sadie playing in the rain.

Hokey Pokey Disco Dance Party

Can I just say I can't believe my baby is 4 years old.  She is the sweetest little girl and loves everyone.

We asked her what kind of birthday party she wanted and this was the answer we got "A Hokey Pokey Disco Dance Party" with a disco ball.

We turned our living room into a dance floor. We had chairs lining the walls and strings of white lights on the wall. Steve even strung a disco ball up. Sadie was in heaven.

We got Sadie's favorite food...Pizza and made a little picnic area out of a shag blanket for the kids to eat.

After dinner we started the dancing with the Hokey Pokey.

We got Sadie "Just Dance Kids" for the Wii and all the kids had a blast dancing to it.  We also played the cake walk game but they got toys instead of cake.

After the dancing we had some cake.  Then we busted (with the help of Katie and Lacey) the platform pinata.  (Sadie's first pinata.)

This was the gift area.  Sadie had fun helping me make the disco balls for this area.  All the kids seemed to have a great time and Sadie did especially so that made us happy.

I forgot to get a "before" picture of the platform pinata but here is the "after" picture.  It was so hard Katie and Lacey had to help break it open for the kids.

Sadie's Birthday Treats

Sadie helped me make some cookies so she could take them to preschool with her for her birthday.  She had alot of fun making sure all the "colorful" chocolate chips on the dough.

We then put them in sandwich baggies and wrapped them in colorful paper.  She was so excited Wednesday morning to take them and hand them out to her friends.



Disneyland

Sadie got to have another Daddy Daughter day at Disneyland.

 She had alot of fun visiting the princesses.  It was the first time ever there was NO LINE.  Steve was utterly amazed.

 Sadie decided to test her muscles.

 Then they headed over to California Adventure.

 Our one of a kind priceless daughter!

 While at California Adventure Steve and Sadie had a real adventure.  They were playing at the carnival games and Sadie got a real bad bloody nose.  They had several attendants and a nurse come to help.  They even gave her a new t-shirt and a huge stuft Mickey Mouse.

After that Sadie was really drained but refused to go home.  On the way back to Disneyland they ran into Doug from the movie UP.

This picture captures the situation perfectly.  This is the new Mickey mouse.  Doesn't she look sad and drained?  Well she was.  She really missed Mommy but Daddy did a good job of taking care of her.

First this they did was run into Donald when they made it back to Disneyland.

They made their way to Pixie hollow again.  Notice the picture with Silvermist was from the morning but the picture with Fawn and Tinker bell is from the afternoon.

Fawn and Tinker bell talked to Sadie for a good 3 minutes and even tried on her glasses.  Steve said they were really sweet to Sadie and were really funny.

After Pixie Hollow Daddy decided Sadie needed a break so they found a comfy shady spot to wait for the parade.  While waiting the Mad Hatter came by.  Sadie wasn't too sure about this guy.

After the parade they made their way to the tea cups.  Sadie had a good time despite the "blood issue" as she calls it.



Jesus Wants Me for a SUNBEAM!

Today is January 1st.  It is also Sunday.  Sadie is so excited about going to Church today because she gets to go to the "big kid class"  She is no longer in nursery. 

I let her take my old scriptures with her which added to her excitement.  She was good in primary and even said the opening prayer.  I can't believe my little baby is in Primary.
