Eye Issues

Well amongst all the baby things happening we also had a couple of trips down to UCLA for Miss Sadie's eye.

On her last visit Dr. Stacey wasn't happy with the progression of the stitches in Miss Sadie's right eye.  They should have been dissolved already but they weren't.  So Daddy and Dr. Stacey scheduled a procedure on the 15th of May to have the stitches removed. 

SAY WHAT?!  Yep the twins get to go on their first road trip.  So we loaded everyone up early early on the 15th and headed down to UCLA.  Sadie was the first patient so we had to be there by 6am.  (two hour drive so that means we left at 4am) Ah but I'm used to no sleep right now.

The procedure went well and quickly and we were back on the road by 10am.  Here is Miss Sadie passed out in the back seat.  I sat back there with her in case she needed anything. 

The twins did really well. They pretty much slept the entire time. We had to stop once on the way home because they were starving but other than that it went very smoothly.  Which gives us hope that our big trip to Portland in just over a month will go smoothly.  (Cross your fingers)
